MCCAA would like to remind the installers of lifts that the new lifts regulations will come into force on 20 April 2016. Moreover, as per Schedule 2 of the new lift regulations (Directive 2014/33/EU), a new requirement in the EU Declaration of Conformity concerning safety components for lifts has been included; this relates to the inclusion of an image, where necessary, for the proper identification of the safety component.
