Although it has been over 2 days since the motion of no confidence in Minister for Energy and Health, Konrad Mizzi, the Prime Minister is dragging his feet when it comes to setting a date for the debate leading to a vote, the PN said this evening in a statement.
The motion was proposed on Monday by Independent MP, Marlene Farrugia.
In the case of the last vote of no confidence in the government earlier this week, Dr Muscat was quick in setting a date and saying that it must be discussed. However, in this case, nothing had been said or agreed upon.
The opposition is asking the government to set a date for the debate and the vote without taking any longer. The PN also reiterated that, as leader Simon Busuttil said last Monday, the opposition will be voting in favour of the motion of no confidence in Dr Konrad Mizzi.
