The annual Isle of MTV music in Floriana was attended by some 50,000 music lovers.
The concert featured British singer-songwriter and Grammy award winner Jess Glynne, US rapper Wiz Khalifa, UK electronic group Clean Bandit and electro-house superstar DJ Steve Aoki. In a statement, Interior Minister Carmelo Abela thanked the Civil Protection Department, the Armed Forces and the police for the work put in to ensure smooth and safe running of the show.
