Norman Darmanin Demajo has been confirmed as president of the Malta Football Association for another term.

His confirmation came this morning at the MFA general conference.

Mr Darmanin Demajo was the only contestant for the post, but he still demanded a vote of confidence from the delegates.

In the vote taken this morning, Mr Darmanin Demajo obtained 116 votes in favour and 18 against.

The association’s vice-presidents were also confirmed, with Chris Bonett obtaining 119 votes, Ludovico Micallef 93 and Alex Manfre 74. The other contestants were Angelo Chetcuti, who obtained 58 votes, and Victor Cassar, who got 28.
