For this last vox-pop before this evening's budget presentation, The Malta Independent went round to the Birkirkara opening market asking for the public’s wish list.

The most common suggestion was for a reduction in the cost of living and the electricity tariffs. If the economy is doing so well, as the government is saying, then people should benefit.

Some said that the government must address the issue of poverty and help the whole population enjoy Malta’s economic.
