Nationalist Party candidate Salvu Mallia’s comparison of the government to cancer is another display of insensitivity of every person who suffers from the disease, a Labour Party statement read.

The statement claimed that this, along with the fake stories publised by the Nationalist Party on its online portal, show that these views are shared with Leader of the Opposition Simon Busuttil..

It is clear, the statement says, that Dr Busuttil is determined to turn back time to divisive politics; the same politics which the people rejected last election.

In the same vane, it says, PN representatives have not condemned the obscene comments of Salvu Mallia, Busuttil’s candidate, instead they have expressed sastisfication with this candidate.
