Outspoken Nationalist Party candidate Salvu Mallia said he is prepared to resign in case of a major disagreement with the PN.
Interviewed by The Malta Independent news editor Rachel Attard on INDEPTH, Mr Mallia said that, “I was, still am and will continue to be in favour of euthanasia.” He said that if euthanasia is not available people will alternatively resort to suicide which can go wrong and they end up harming themselves more.
“I know I do not agree with the rest of the Nationalist Party, however I always put my cards on the table,” Mallia said.
This week PN leader Simon Busuttil said the party is not prepared to change its position against euthanasia and abortion.
INDEPTH with Salvu Mallia will be uploaded on this website tomorrow.
