A 19-year-old man from Santa Venera was grievously injured this morning in an accident involving factory machinery.
The police said the accident took place at around 11:30am at the Mrieħel industrial zone but did not specify how the man was injured.
The victim was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
The police are investigating.
