At first glance, the new media bill as presented by the government was shocking, but matters have been explained and they look brighter now, Alternattiva Demokratika chairperson Arnold Cassola said.

Interviewed by The Malta Independent online editor Stephen Calleja on INDEPTH, Prof. Cassola said that the government has already moved away from the original provisions made in the bill when it was made public for the first time.
