A vehicle that was being towed along Triq ta’ Zejfa in Mosta caught fire earlier this morning and the busy road was been closed to traffic. It has since been reopened.
The tow truck driver noted smoke and fire coming from the towed vehicle, reportedly a minibus, and stopped at the side of the road. Units from the police and the Civil Protection Department were on site within minutes. No injuries have been reported.
