Through the Foundation for Tomorrow's Schools, the government has invested more than €40 million on projects in various schools and educational institutions in Malta and Gozo.

This information was revealed through replies which the Ministry for Education gave following parliamentary questions.

In a statement, the Ministry said that when one compares this expenditure with what was spent by the previous administration, this government spent three times the amount. In fact, the PN government had spent some €13 million.
