Salvu Mallia apologised for inappropriate comments he made on the social media, saying that he realised that although it is hard to keep quiet, he should have held back from expressing himself the way he did.

But, he added in his vlog today, the apology is not for everyone, and he called upon all politicians who have made mistakes to come forward and also say sorry for any wrongdoings they have committed.

We are living in difficult times, he said. It’s like buying jewellery which you think is authentic and which later turns out to be fake.
