The dead man lifted out of the sea in Marsascala yesterday was a 31-year-old Serb, the police said in a statement this evening.

The body was located in the area known as Tal-Fajtata, close to St Thomas Bay, at around 11am yesterday morning.

The body was lifted out of the sea by members of the Rapid Intervention Unit.
