PN Deputy leader for Party affairs, Beppe Fenech Adami, denied having a conflict of interest of the same nature his counterpart, Mario de Marco, had with the DB Group in the ITS land transfer and the construction of a high-rise tower in St George’s Bay.

Dr Fenech Adami was replying to questions by TMI’s Content Director Pierre Portelli in this week’s edition of INDEPTH which will go online tomorrow on this portal.

Asked to state whether he gives legal services to construction magnate Charles Polidano, who is no stranger to controversial projects such as the Hal Farrug Montekristo and the Riviera Hotel in Mtarfa, Dr Fenech Adami denied his involvement with the businessman, yet adding that should he be faced with a conflict of interest he would make a decision thereon.

During the programme Dr Fenech Adami was asked on the state of the PN and if he believes the party can win the next general election. He was also pressed to say what his party is doing in the wake of the identity cards crisis revealed by The Malta Independent on Sunday.
