Workers were filmed using a crane to lower heavy equipment from the side of a building while traffic was passing by and pedestrians were walking on the pavement directly below.
The video was shared on social media on Monday and elicited a strong reaction by the public, who questioned health and safety rules.
The area is Main Street in St Julian’s, opposite the Neptunes pitch in Balluta Bay, a busy area frequented by tourists and locals.
