Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has not yet spoken with Deputy Prime Minister Louis Grech as to whether or not the latter would contest the general elections and on which districts.

Dr Muscat was responding to questions madeby the Malta Independent during a press conference at the PL headquarters.

Dr Muscat also said: “Looking forward, I see him forming a different part of this government.”

Louis Grech is currently the Deputy Prime Minister, however there has been complete silence as to whether he would be contesting these elections. 

Mr Grech has not been seen during this electoral campaign.
