Former AD Chairperson Michael Briguglio has told his followers on Facebook to vote for the PN-PD coalition, and not for the Alternattiva Demokratika.

Dr Briguglio has been quite visible this election campaign, appearing at a number of PN-PD coalition events, and showing his support.

In his Facebook status, he said that the only reason some Labour supporters are are sympathising with AD is as they want to split the vote to Labour's advantage.

"These divide-and-rule TaghnaLkollers never showed sympathy for AD in the past. The only way to remove Labour's panamagang from power is through the coalition."

The AD have already said that they will not enter a coalition with the PN under the offered conditions, and the PN has made clear that it is not willing to contest under a new banner.
