Nationalist Party leader Simon Busuttil said that the PN’s electoral promise to reduce income tax for people earning less than €20,000 a year is specifically aimed to cater for people who are mostly in need.
Interviewed by The Malta Independent online editor Stephen Calleja, Dr Busuttil said that 121,000 workers will benefit from this pledge. People in higher wage brackets will benefit from other initiatives later.
During the programme, Dr Busuttil spoke about the magisterial inquiries involving the Prime Minister and his chief of staff, political instability, the PN’s electoral manifesto and his intentions to clean Malta’s reputation if elected to government.
INDEPTH will be uploaded on this website tomorrow.
