The documents released today by the Labour Party regarding PN deputy leader Mario de Marco show that Prime Minister Joseph Muscat was lying yesterday on Xarabank, the Nationalist Party said in a statement.
On Friday, during the debate with Opposition Leader Simon Busuttil, Muscat said that de Marco is the “owner” of a secret company in Cyprus. Today, Labour issued documents which expose the lie, the PN said.
In its statement, the PN said that in his professional capacity, de Marco is a director (not the owner) of a company, which is owned by Finian Lyden, an Irish citizen. Joseph Muscat should know the difference between being an owner and being a director.
This company carries the name Twinkleday Ltd, a Cypriot company registered in Malta with the Malta Financial Services Authority. Evidence of this may be found on the MFSA site, the PN said.
