Watch - Last day of campaign: Labour gears up for mass meeting at Hal Far

Thursday, 1 June 2017, 16:25 Last update: about 10 years ago

The Labour Party is gearing up for its last political event at the end of the 31-day election campaign, which will be a mass meeting in Hal Far this evening.

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has spent most of the day going from town to town as Labour continues to promote itself as the better choice, promising continuity and boasting of the country’s achievements in economic terms and civil rights.

Labour has based its campaign on its employment success as well as its championing of civil liberties, but it has had to face accusations of corruption. The Panama Papers revelations have hit Labour hard and the four magisterial inquiries launched in the last four weeks speak volumes about the attacks Labour has had to face on its governance record.

The video with this article is one of many that has been uploaded on the social media to promote Labour’s results in the last four years.
