PN candidate Salvu Mallia has been eliminated on the 12th district, much to the joy of Labour counting agents, who used the opportunity to again to sing the carnival anthem.
Mr Mallia was known for stirring some controversy throughout the campaign, following certain comments he made.
PL agents had pulled a similar stunt when PD Leader Marlene Farrugia and PD candidate Godfrey Farrugia had come to the Naxxar counting hall hours ago.
In addition to the carnival anthem, the counting agents also literally barked, cheered and banged on the Perspex.
