Footage is making the rounds on Facebook of a big truck dangerously driving down the wrong way on Mriehel Bypass in order to cut across to the other live.

Instead of driving up the bypass in the direction of Qormi, going around the roundabout and coming back down in the direction of Attard, the driver chose to cut across both lanes of oncoming traffic to cross to the other side of the bypass. The incident took place around the industrial zone of Mriehel. The driver’s careless move comes is suffering from increasingly gridlocked traffic.

This is the same area where a young motorist lost his life some weeks ago.
