Randolph De Battista has been named as the new Labour Party Chief Executive Officer. He replaces Gino Cauchi as from Monday.
In the past years, De Battista worked at Malta’s permanent representation office in Brussels. He was previously employed in the PL’s communications office before 2013.
The PL has also appointed Aleander Balzan as new director of communications. Balzan, who was head of news at One News, will be replacing Nigel Vella.
Owen Galea has been appointed head of news.
Cauchi and Vella have opted to pursue their careers elsewhere, the PL said in a statement.
