Zabbar obtained a late deserved equaliser in a rather ill-tempered match with Vittoriosa finishing the match with nine players.
Vittoriosa were the better team in the early stages and took the lead on fiteen minutes when Liam Gauci beat Grech from the edge of the area with the ball hitting the upright before finishing at the back of the net.
Five minutes later Zabbar drew level when their start striker Kurt Borg slotted home from close range anticipating Magri’s sortie. Vittoriosa went close again on 35 minutes with Zabbar goalkeeper Grech making a great save off a Jamie Pace shot from the edge of the area.
On the other end Kurt Borg missed a glorious chance in front of goal and just before the break Vittoriosa were awarded a penalty when Duncan Pisani was floored by Sacco and from the penalty spot Obinna Obiefule made no mistake.
On the resumption Zabbar had more of the ball and attacked for long stretches but had no clear cut scoring chances. On 76 minutes Vittoriosa were reduced to ten men when goalkeeper Magri received a second booking.
Four minutes from time Zabbar obtained a deserved equaliser through a header from substitute Andrea Azzopardi, and in stoppage time Vittoriosa were down to nine men when Andre Farrugia was sent off for dissent. With the final shot at goal Zabbar went close a dramatic victory with a Pace effort hitting the crossbar.

Pieta returned to winning ways after stumbling against Pembroke, demolishing ten-man Melita in a one way traffic affair. For Melita, who had to play for a whole hour with a man less, this was the fourthy consecutive defeat.
On ten minutes Pieta took the lead when Neil Pace Cocks won a ball in midfield and managed to beat Grima with a low drive. On 33 minutes Jan Busuttil was floored by Ryan Parrado with the referee awarding the penalty and showing the red card to Parrado. From the spot Dylan Agius made no mistake.
Just before the break Pieta put the issue beyond doubt with a third goal scored by Juan Manuel Ruiz Perez who pounced on a Melita defensive blunder.
The match was dead and buried and Pieta added two further goals on the resumption on 63 minutes through Dylan Agius and through Jan Busuttil who first timed home with fifteen minutes from the end.
