The European Parliament’s President Antonio Tajani will be attending the funeral of Daphne Caruana Galizia at the Mosta parish church on Friday at 2pm.

Tajani had invited the family to Brussels days after the investigative jouralist was killed by a car bomb soon after she left her home in Bidnija on 16 October.

After the funeral, Tajani will be paying a visit to The Malta Independent offices to meet with editors and journalists. The Malta Independent carried Daphne Caruana Galizia's opinion pieces twice a week for more than 20 years.
