Police are appealing for information after an eight-year-old boy, Khyl Agius Bonavia, was reported missing and was last seen with Lorraine Bonavia, who is also wanted by the police.
The Malta Police Force said that Lorraine Bonavia is being sought on the order of a judge in connection with a court judgement.
The appeal was first made through the Police's official Facebook page, where the public was asked to assist in locating her
In a press release issued on 16 June, police said that they were looking for Lorraine Bonavia in relation to a pending court case.
On Thursday, the police said that eight-year-old Khyl Agius Bonavia had been reported missing.
According to the Police, the boy was last seen in Mosta Square with Lorraine Bonavia, who is the person wanted in connection with the court judgment.
Police are asking anyone with information about Lorraine Bonavia or the whereabouts of the child to come forward.
Information may be passed on to the Police confidentially or anonymously by contacting Police Headquarters on 21 224001 or 119, by sending a message through the Malta Police Force's official Facebook page, or by going to the nearest police station.
