The Malta Women's national football team again easily disposed of the United Arab Emirates in a second friendly international match played this morning at the Centenary Stadium, Ta' Qali.
In almost a repeat of their first encounter last Thursday, Mark Gatt's side continued with their good form by racing again into a comfortable 3-0 half time lead with goals coming from a brace from Shona Zammit as early as the 2nd minute and later on 33 minutes. Rachael Cuschieri executed a fine solo goal on just before the half hour.
With Shona Zammit clearly in fine form for the locals, the Malta ladies soon added a fourth at the change of ends through Gabriella Zahra to complete a fine double win over their Middle East opponents in a period of four days.
Two fine wins for Gatt's side which should augur well for the future.
