A man was taken to hospital after the van he was in hit a tree protruding onto the road in Rabat.
The accident happened on the Saqqajja Hill at 12.30pm.
The injured man, aged 44, was a passenger in the truck being driven by a 51-year-old man of Zurrieq.
It followed the tragic accident, in Zurrieq, in which two people died and 50 were injured when an open-top double decker bus crashed into a tree on Monday.
