Rabat Ajax Football Club appoint Vesko Petrovic as head coach

Rabat Ajax Football Club announces that Mr Vesko Petrovic has been appointed as the club’s new head coach. Mr Petrovic, signed the agreement on Sunday morning in the presence of the club’s President Mr Amadeo Zammit, Vice President Glen J Micallef, and Team Manager Mr Etienne Cachia.

Mr Petrovic, 52 years old from Montenegro, played with Rabat Ajax Football Club for a total of four seasons in Malta’s elite division, making his debut for the club in the 1993/94 season. He also played for Zabbar St Patrick FC, Valletta FC and Dingli Swallows FC.

Mr Petrovic, who is in possession of the UEFA A coaching licence, served as Coach with Xaghra United FC in Gozo, Marsascala FC and Mgarr United FC. He will be replacing Mr Edward Azzopardi who managed the team during the past two seasons while the club participated in Malta’s BOV First Division, assisted by Mr Brian Bartolo.
