Prime Minister Joseph Muscat visited the revamped factories of Hal Mann Vella Ltd following an investment of 7 million euro. Accompanied by Minister for the Economy, Investment and Small Businesses Chris Cardona, Dr Muscat was welcomed by Chairman of the Group Martin Vella and could witness the state-of-the-art equipment as well as the dedication of the company's employees.

The Prime Minister referred to Hal Mann Vella Group as one of those firms which decided to move out of its comfort zone and build a strong foundation through which it is now ready to develop overseas. Whilst remarking that the Maltese economy is incentivising investors to expand, Dr Muscat expressed his appreciation towards all entrepreneurs who risk their assets to create more jobs and careers. Challenges still exist - mostly to identify enough workers with the required skills - but such investment projects augur well for the future.
