Watch: Demolition work continues in St Julian’s in spite of summer ban

Demolition work continued on a building site in St Julian’s this morning in spite of a ban prohibiting such work from taking place in tourist areas.
Workmen turned up on a site in Birkirkara Hill where two villas were demolished last month, and continued to remove debris from the area.
Demolition and excavation works are not permitted within tourism areas between 15 June and 30 September.
