Dr Almane thanked the University of Malta for the support it provides to the Kuwaiti students in Malta and the excellent working relationship it holds with the Cultural Office in Paris.

The MoU focuses on the arrangements that are in place for the Kuwaiti scholarship students at the University of Malta and encourages the development of academic relations with universities and research centres in Kuwait looking at joint research and other academic activities.

A total of 80 Kuwaiti scholarship students have successfully concluded their studies at the University of Malta since 2009 including 10 students who will be graduating in December. The university currently hosts a further 90 students spread over various years of study, with a further 12 new students who joined this month.
