The strong winds coupled by the rough seas has once again led Marsalforn promenade in Gozo to be literally devoured by the water today.
Footage uploaded by Christabelle Azzopardi on Facebook shows waves crashing onto the promenade and sea-water taking over the whole “land area” at the popular bay.
The Meteorological Office is warning that the wind from the west-northwest will be very strong in the coming hours, reaching gale force.
