Footage that has been uploaded on Facebook by Brando Schembri shows a huge amount of plastic – and other items – that has been washed up on the beach at Ghajn Tuffieha Bay.

The items were washed up in the last few days of rough seas.

A campaign has been launched for people to reduce their use of plastic, especially single-use items.

This video is yet another reason why there should be a stronger effort for plastic waste to be recycled, rather than thrown away in the sea or elsewhere.
