From the CISK MASTERS DIVISION ONE LEAGUE, MOSTA SHAGGY started he year by  another good win to keep marching on, registering the sixth consecutive win.  Although havng some good players missing like Jeffrey Chetcuti and Stefan Sultana, they still managed to beat NAXXAR MASTERS 12-7.

Naxxar started well when just under one minute they opened the score through Mark Deguara.  However soon after Mosta got the  equaliser and went for the break laeding 6-3. MOSTA kept in control and Naxxar, though making progress in their play they could not  match their opponents. Steve Aquilina and Pavlos Buhagiar both scored a hat-trick and Pio Sciriha scoring two, was also chosen as the best plaer of the game.  For neighbours Naxxar, thier  best player  was Chris Abela.

In the MAPFRE/MSV LIFE MASTERS PREMIER LEAGUE, VALLETTA beat RABAT 5-4 in an exciting game.  Rabat  were a diverent team when they beat  champions MARSA WS, in their previous game.   Against Valletta they deserved a draw, but failed badly infront of  the goalkeeper  who also denied them with  some good saves. They were the better team in the first half and had a good lead of 3-1. But after the break Valleta came back strongly with new registered Andei Zammit Tabone scoring a hat-trick including the victory goal in the last minutes.
