FC Zbrijovka Brno from the Czech Republic, surprisingly won the first edition of the Tipsport Malta Cup by beating their more quoted opponents, Slovakian Super Liga leaders Slovan Bratislava by a clear cut 3-0 final scoreline, with goals from Sumbera, Baris and Pavlik.
FK Mlada Boleslav finished third beating FM MAS Taborsko 3-1.
The four teams from the Czech Republic and Slovakia are in Malta for a wekk-long training camp between January 18 and 25, 2019.
