MISCO using business simulations to bring real-world practice to its courses

Tuesday, 22 January 2019, 10:33 Last update: about 6 years ago

A collaboration between MISCO Consulting Ltd and digital marketing consulting firm The Ornate Group will bring to the classroom - for the first time in Malta - real-world practice through business simulations. "With this revolutionary practice, students will be more engaged in their studies and ultimately better prepared for the business world once they complete their course," said Ritienne Xerri, MISCO Training and Development Director and Naila Neymatova Co-Founder and Director of The Ornate Group.

"These simulations create a fun learning environment, making core marketing concepts enjoyable to learn and, by putting the key theoretical concepts into practice, students are able to retain what they have learnt better than through traditional learning methods. Students are also able to enhance their teamwork skills as they will be required to analyse and debate various marketing-related issues with their teammates in order to remain ahead of the game," they added.

The first time these simulations will be used will be during the Malta Qualifications Framework Level 6 Award in Strategic Marketing which was recently certified by the National Commission for Further and Higher Education. To learn more about these simulations and how they could help you improve your learning experience, MISCO and The Ornate Group will be organising an information session on 24 January at which they will be diving into the simulations and showing participants how they work.

Those wishing to attend, should complete the form found on this page (https://www.theornatetraining.com/level-6-award-in-strategic-marketing-information-session-registration
