When, this morning, The Malta Independent spoke to Minister Evarist Bartolo about fruit being distributed to schoolchildren, we were told that complaints were being received only when bananas were on the menu.

Even Minister Bartolo saw the funny side of the situation, smiling at the camera while giving the reasons why bananas had to be removed.

We thought to lighten up a rather dull day by producing this short video – which, we are sure, minister Bartolo will also appreciate.
