Spain’s coach Luis Enrique will miss tonight’s match against Malta for family reasons, the Spanish Federation said.
Enrique flew back to Spain overnight and the team will be led by his second in command Robert Moreno.
No further details were made available.
Malta and Spain will be meeting at Ta’ Qali stadium in a match valid for the qualifying group leading to Euro 2020.
