The Labour Party still having the support of the absolute majority of the Maltese and Gozitans came down to the fact that the Government and party made good on what they promised in the last few years, Labour Party Head of Communications Aleander Balzan said.

Giving his reaction following the release of preliminary results, Balzan said that after presenting strong candidates, and running a positive campaign where they spoke about the issues of the people, the Maltese population, once again, put their trust in the politics of positivity.

“Politics based on proposals and content, and put aside the politics of fear.”
