Milan Supporters Club Gozo announces that Alberico Evani will be visiting the Maltese islands on its invitation to launch his book 'Non Chiamatemi Bubu'.
Alberico Evani will be in Gozo on Wednesday 11th September at the Grand Hotel, Ghajnsielem.
The event starts at 6.30pm with the presentation of the book and a book-signing session followed by a Question & Answer session to which the general public may participate with their own questions.
Members of the public may also have their photo taken with the former player who will join those attending a BBQ dinner at the same venue. Tickets at €55 include the purchase of the book and the BBQ dinner.
Alberico Evani was part of the great Milan of the Invincibles.
His official biography cites him as an AC Milan-grown player "who contributed to the club's rebirth in the Eighties, and was particularly appreciated by Arrigo Sacchi for his tactical discipline and untiring dynamism and pace on the left flank. With Milan he won everything, distinguishing himself in the finals of the European Super Cup and Intercontinental Cup in 1989, played at a distance of ten days one from the other and both secured thanks to his free kicks".
Today, Evani is the assistant coach of the current Italian National squad, flanking Roberto Mancini who took over the national team in 2018.
