An autumn storm, as expected, brought with it floods in the most notorious areas in Malta and Gozo.
This footage was uploaded on the Facebook page of the Maltese Roads Traffic Updates, and shows the situation in Bugibba at the height of the heavy rainfall.
The traffic flow was disrupted in various parts of the islands.
The Met Office forecasts that rain is expected for the rest of the week.
