St. Andrew's turned the tables on Qrendi to beat them by the odd goal in three and join the same Qrendi in second place behind league leaders Lija.
Much of the action happened in the second half after a rather timid first half in which the Saints were more dangerous and rather unlucky too when a Veselji shot hit the base of the upright on the half hour.
Twelve minutes into the second half Qrendi won a penalty from which Santos Da Hora made no mistake. But St. Andrew's had a very good reaction scoring two quick goals in the space of six minutes with captain Joseph Farrugia scoring the winner on 77 minutes.

Well one could not ask for more. Qormi and Pieta had a great evening yesterday playing some very good football producing a spectacular 3-3 draw. The first half half was breath taking with Qormi taking a two-goal lead, and with Pieta bouncing back to level matters.
However just before the break Qormi were back in front, with Pieta managing to salvage a point midway through the second half.
On 18 minutes Lokando put Qormi in front from the penalty spot and minutes later Gnindokponou made it two-nil. But Pieta were still in the game with Lucas Caetano scoring a brace and also missing a penalty to make it two all.
However just before the break Qormi were back in front with a Tensior Gusman header. In the second half the pace of the game was much slower, but the game remained in the balance till the 68th minute when Clive Gauci gave Pieta a deserved draw when he shot home from an ideal position.
