The northbound side of Sir Paul Boffa Avenue will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, between 11 am and 6pm, Infrastructure Malta said.
The road is famous for having served as an experimental tidal lane, and leads from Paola (Kordin) towards Marsa.
Infrastructure Malta said it will set in place the longest concrete beams of the Marsa flyovers project. These beams will cross over some of the junction’s existing lanes, which will be closed to ensure road users’ and workers’ safety.
Drivers are urged to follow diversion signs from Corradino roundabout to the Dock 7 area road, towards Albert Town, Marsa. Sir Paul Boffa Avenue northbound will remain open to buses only, Infrastructure Malta said.
