Watch: We’re taking tough decisions – Chris Fearne

Tuesday, 26 November 2019, 10:35 Last update: about 7 years ago

The government is taking tough decisions, Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne has said.

Asked for his comments following the resignation of OPM chief of staff Keith Schembri, Fearne said that he is proud to be Maltese and proud to be Labour, and that the government will finish its mandate.

Tough decisions are being taken in this sense, he said.

He did not reply to questions as to whether Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and Minister Konrad Mizzi should also resign.

Economy Minister Chris Cardona, who last Saturday was summoned to the police headquarters, had no comment to make.
