A man was found stabbed to death in Marsa on Friday evening, the police said.

The man was found on a pavement along 13 December Road at 11.30pm.

He had stab wounds to his chest.

His identity is unknown, the police said, but it is likely that he is a foreigner.

Magistrate Victor axiaq is leading an inquiry.

In a second statement, the police said the an autopsy has been carried out and it is treating the case as a homicide.
