The Chamber of Commerce has postponed its annual reception, scheduled for 4 December.
The chamber did not mention the political situation as being the reason for the postponement, but it said that the premises being in Valletta, this central location “currently makes it difficult for the event to take place.
Valletta has been the venue of a string of protests by civil society in the wake of investigations into the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
A new date will be announced in due course.
