Two drivers, one of them a police officer, were hospitalised on Tuesday evening following a car crash in Attard.

A Rapid Intervention Unit car and a Mazda SUV were involved in the collision, near the San Anton junction.

It is understood that the two drivers suffered slight injuries. Both cars were extensively damaged.
