Several localities saw power cuts today, yet again. Over the past days the country has faced a number of such cuts, and today saw another widespread cut.

Areas including Mosta, Swieqi, Qormi, Attard, Balzan, Valletta, Naxxar, San Gwann, Msida, Paola, Qawra, parts of St Julian's, Balzan all experienced power cuts, among others. In a statement at 12.50pm, Enemalta wrote on Facebook: 

"Enemalta plc would like to inform the public that it has experienced interruptions in the electricity supply in B’Kara, Qawra, Qormi, Fgura, Zejtun, Bormla, M’Scala, other localities and part of Gozo. At present, the electricity service is back to normal in most of these localities. Our technical personnel are working hard to restore the service to the few remaining customs." Sometime later, Enemalta released another post saying that all electricity had been restored.
