The two foreign football teams, who are at the moment undergoing an intensive one-week training camp in Malta, namely Belgian Pro Jupiler League outfit Cercle Brugge and Bundesliga side FC Augsburg, today figured in a very entertaining 3-3 draw in a friendly match at the National Stadium, Ta' Qali.
The match served as preparation for both teams for the resumption of their respective leagues next week.  Kevin Hoggas put the Belgians into an early lead before Rani Khedira equalised for the FC Augsburg.  The more quoted Bundesliga side took the lead but the Belgians came back with a bang to level matters for a final 3-3 scoreline.
Interesting to note that both Cercle Brugge's Kylian Hazard, donning the number 7 shirt, and Rani Khedira of FC Augsburg are the brothers of Real Madrid's Eden Hazard and Sami Khedira of Juventus.
